Introduction
Love Struck is a collection packed with over 20 different heart-themed shapes that can be used to embellish bags. Pieces include zipper facings and assorted heart and arrow embellishments. While the pieces were designed to be cut using a machine (such as a Cricut, SIlhouette, etc.), the ZIP file also includes a PDF should you want to cut the pieces by hand.
Considering the number of pieces included, this package is a great value! It's perfect for valentines day making and great for love-themed gifting! (Includes pieces only.)
Skill/Level - Advanced Beginner
As these are pieces only and instruction is not included, the following skills are required.
- Cutting: You must now how to use your cutting machine and its' software. (Also see note about SVGs below.)
- Sewing: To use the pieces in a sewn assembly, you must know how to topstitch a zipper facing as well as topstitch overlay decorative pieces and integrate these pieces into your bag.
What's Included - 1 Zip file with 1 PDF and 5 SVG files
A downloadable zip file includes both the PDF and SVG files. Both formats include 1-inch scales. The PDF includes pieces with names and dimensions. All text has been removed from the SVG files. Each SVG file is grouped with multiple SVGs is intuitively named to identify its' contents:
- 1 Heart Zipper Pouch (8"Wx7.25"T) - designed to be left raw-edge (2 pieces)
- 9 Embellishments - Hearts and Arrows (12 pieces)
- 5 Arrow-style zipper facings (5 differently sized pieces)
- 6 Heart'n Arrow-style zipper facings (6 differently sized pieces).
About SVG
SVGs are "vector" files and are driven by the anchors and technically not the lines themselves. Moreover SVGs as vector images, do not include a specific dpi as Raster files do. When you import the SVG into your cutting software, be sure to check the provided 1-inch scale to make sure the file came into your software correctly. (There are instances known with Brother Scan'n Cut where files sometimes come in enlarged.)
