This listing is for the MAIN PATTERN, which is a downloadable digital pattern that is available as either a PDF only or a PDF with SVG in a ZIP file. Choose in drop down menu. Price is same.

1-If you purchase the combo PDF+SVG in a ZIP file, you must be able to download it and be able to open it on your device.

2-The PDF (only) option is provided if you don't have a cutting machine or if your device is not compatible to open a ZIP file.

ABOUT
This is the Main Pattern for the Jordan Craft Case. This is a simple case offered in two sizes that can store all kinds of things and be embellished in multiple ways with the provided optional pieces. Use it to hold pens/pencils, sewing notions, small tools, crochet hooks, eyeglasses to name a few! It uses minimal materials and makes a quick gift. Choose to incorporate one or more of the optional embellishments, or keep it simple and fast.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS
Long = 8" wide x 3" tall x 2-1/4" deep
Short = 7" wide x 3" tall x 2-1/4" deep

LEVEL/SKILLS
Level is advanced beginner.  Skills to complete this case include sewing a zipper around curves, and adding two small binding strips on the inside. If including embellishments, you'll need to know how to install a rivet.

SVG
To use the SVG you must know how to use your cutting machine and its' software to make the appropriate settings. 

MATERIALS FOR ONE (Based on Long size)
Body Materials : 9" wide x 12" tall for each

Fabric

• Exterior Fabric  - Use a non-woven such as vinyl, cork or leather (with a non-directional print)
  
• Lining Fabric - Use waterproof canvas
  (or optionally a quilting cotton, interfaced with SF101)
  
• Additional (non-woven) Contrast fabric may be needed depending on embellishment options. 

• #5 Zipper tape cut to 16" after pull(s) installed
• #5 Zipper Pull - 1 (or optionally 2 pulls) 
• Depending on embellishment choice:  6-7mm rivets

TOOLS (IN ADDITION TO THE USUAL)

• Zipper presser foot
  
• 1/8-1/4" double-sided tape
• Fabric Clips
• If embellishing: awl, hole punch and rivet installation tools.

• Body - Size Long
• Body - Size Short
• Binding
• Grab Tab - Rounded
• Grab tab - Squared
• Vertical Band/Rivet Band (2 sizes)
• Vertical X-Narrow Band (1)
• Simple Flowers (4 sizes)*

SVG Pieces: In the SVG file additional pieces are included for convenience. Use of a "precision" blade versus "utility" blade is recommended to cut out shapes smaller than 3/4" (such as rivet holes, etc.). Therefore the same piece is included for both of the following:

• Center-notched and non-notched
• With and without rivet holes.
