SOURCES – Self-Adhesive Lining and Wallet Liner

WHAT IS SELF-ADHESIVE LINER

A typical Self-Adhesive “wallet” lining is a thin, durable, lightweight fabric with a relatively strong adhesive backing. Typical wallet liner is made of poly and/or nylon, and ranges 0.1mm -2mm in thickness.  (It is sometimes offered with RFID blocking, which in my opinion can crease due to the metal fibers, and not really as necessary with today’s credit card technologies.)

Other general “self-adhesive lining” used for leather, comes in a microsuede (usually made of poly o micro fibers) and is a bit thicker. (If you go with a microsuede, be sure it’s not “flocking” which is stiffer and used as a drawer liner, and not as suitable to line leather bags, accessories, and wallets. (Microsuede liners are used as an alternative instead of real suede leather.)
